Privacy Policy
Every salesperson should join and become active in two organizations--one either within their industry or an association for individuals and/or companies in an industry the salesperson seeks prospects or referral sources, and a social/service organization.
Two organizations gives the salesperson significant exposure and allows sufficient time for him/her to become involved in the activities of the organization. More than two generally leads to either not becoming actively involved, only attending meetings, or the salesperson ends up being a professional organization member and doesn’t have enough time to tend to their business and family.
When investigating a social/service organization, look carefully at the organization’s goals and objectives, since you’re commitment to the organization must be more than simply trying to milk prospects and referrals--you’re primary purpose is to advance the organization’s purpose--prospecting and sales must be secondary.
